Seamless was conceived in 2005 specialising initially in the design and production of surface finishes for luxury interiors.

Our 4 founders come from distinctly different backgrounds in interior design, graphic design, tool and pattern making and film production, and bring with them many years of expertise and experience in their fields.

Catherine Thomas
Managing Director

Catherine trained in Interior and Spatial Design at London’s Chelsea College of Art & Design, and upon graduation formed an interior design practice with a retail shop in the Home Counties. Catherine divides her time between client visits, implementing the planning, design and development stages of our projects and overseeing the day to day running of the company.

Richard Bone
Director

Richard trained as a Graphic Designer and formerly ran a graphic and branding studio in London’s Camden Lock. As Seamless’ Operations Director Richard’s key role is to manage and ensure the smooth running of projects from the design stage through to completion. He is instrumental in the research and development of new techniques and finishes.

Lee Craik
Director

Lee has 20 years of experience in the film industry running a production company making props and key pieces for feature films such as Gladiator, The Bourne Series and Inception, and TV series that include Band of Brothers and Game of Thrones. Lee’s expertise within Seamless lies in the research development, utilisation and re-appropriation of materials, tools and processes. He has a particular interest in our work within contemporary and conceptual art.

Bill Craik
Director

Bill trained as a tool maker and engineer. He spent his formative years designing and building custom machinery for his own manufacturing business working within the aerospace, automotive and marine industries. For 20 years Bill worked with the Special Effects, Stunt and Armoury teams within the feature film industry, completing projects that include Braveheart, Saving Private Ryan, The Dark Knight Trilogy and numerous James Bond films. These days Bill utilises his wealth of experience and in-depth knowledge of machinery, methods and materials to guide our team of artists and craftsmen.
